Legendary short game specialist and former Ryder Cup player, Norman Drew, teamed up with MD Golf in 2007 – his aim was to help produce a range of high quality wedges.

Norman felt that the majority of modern wedges feature lots of bounce and this makes it difficult to ‘nip’ the ball off the surface, especially off tighter lies and in particular around links courses. Norman has entirely re–engineered the head design and the grooves to produce a wedge which features a modified leading edge with a squarer look at address whilst maximising spin and feel with the new “Vico Spin” grooves. For 2015 the shaft is upgraded to a Precision Rifle.
